Cherry Red Records Premier Challenge Cup: Round One

We are on the road for the third game on the bounce as we face a trip to Mill Meadow to face Chalfont St. Peter in the opening round of the Cherry Red Records Premier Challenge Cup.

Initially this weekend had been tentatively earmarked as an Emirates FA Cup weekend for both sides but as both of us fell at the first hurdle, this cup game has been brought forward to be played so that both club can get a fixture played.

We had a good win on the road midweek away to Wembley in the league. Despite the number of shots had by both sides throughout the game it was a surprise to see it finish just 1-0 in our favour. Rhys Ellis popping up with a brilliant header from the penalty spot not long into the opening half.

We look to build on that this weekend in our foray into the cup before we return to league action next Tuesday night at home to Holyport.
