After a couple of games on the road we return to Tithe Farm this weekend with Virginia Water our visitors. It will be the first of two meeting between the sides here this month with the second one later on this month in the Second Round Qualifying Round of The Isuzu FA Vase. An early chance for the sides to get acquainted with one another before they meet again in three weeks time.

We have been in a strong run of form of late, winning five out of our last five in all competitions and in our last run out here saw us take all the points in a one sided contest against Holyport that finished 5-1. That was followed up by an impressive 2-1 away win to Hilltop last Saturday in what was a tough game for both sides with the conditions not great, but the lads fought well and deservedly came away with the all the points.

Midweek was yet another tough battle against then unbeaten Burnham and in a result that would have surprised many watching afar, saw us come away from there with a 4-2 win. A result not many expected, but one to be proud of as the boys performed to their best and showed just what the can do.

On to this weekend and the lads face yet another tough task against a Virginia Water side who have, in their last two games, beaten two of the top four sides in the table at this early stage of the league, North Greenford and in midweek, the unbeaten table toppers Rayners Lane. There were a couple of good battles between the sides last season and from recent form the expectation is that today will be no different.
