Although Broadfields had dominated possession throughout the first half it was Southall FC who took the lead through a Gary Senior header. Southall then doubled their lead moments before half time with a left footed strike from Jack Bennet.
The second half saw a more penetrative, forward thinking Broadfields side and along with the inclusion of Rex Kimona saw Broadfields grab one back thanks to a Rex Kimona cross headed in by Marcus Gibbs-Greenidge. Following the first goal this then lead Broadfields onto an onslaught of goals with Marcus Gibbs-Greenidge scoring another 3 and Harry Henley grabbing one meaning that Broadfields won the game 5-2.
A truely sublime team performance from Broadfields with special mention to Rex Kimona for assisting 4 of the 5 goals as well as Marcus Gibbs-Greenidge for scoring 4 goals on his full debut for the club.
A fantastic result for Broadfields who will now progress into the Quarter-Finals who they will face Staines Lammas on the 22nd of November 2016.
