The Club is Pleased to Confirm and Welcome David Fox as New Manager of the Club

We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Fox as First Team Manager of the club.

David will be joined by Coaches Mark Fox and Kevin Lawrence along with Oli Leslie and Ryan Duffy who will be continuing in their roles.

Once Liam Bird confirmed his intention to stand down as Manager, the committee unanimously agreed there was only one person in mind to help take our club forward and that was David. David’s first game in charge of the side will see us travel to the Armadillo Stadium to face Arlesey Town on Saturday 12th February.

David will find familiar surroundings once he takes the hotseat in our first home fixture, on Tuesday 1st March against Uxbridge FC in the Middlesex County Charity Cup, having previously occupied the dugout with Rayners Lane FC for the best part of five seasons up until earlier on in this campaign, with whom we share the superb Tithe Farm Sports & Social Club facilities now.

More recently over the last couple of months, along with his brother Mark, he has been part of the Northwood FC coaching setup that has turned their fortunes around and seen them make a rise up the league table. David has a wealth of experience and understanding of the local game along with knowledge of our side having been able to watch us on numerous occasions over the last two seasons whilst we have been playing at Tithe Farm Sports & Social Club.

Even though we did not advertise the role we want to thank all of those who have expressed an interest and applied in take on the managerial position. We are highly flattered by the number of applicants however as Liam had given us ample notice of his intentions, we were able to secure David, Mark and Kevin’s services circumventing the need to advertise the positions.

We welcome David, Mark and Kevin to our club and along with Oli and Ryan hope they have a long and successful tenure at the helm.
